power boat rental: Full or half day, from $200 to $400, not including fuel and oil. Hire an experienced captain to do the driving or strike out on your own to discover the beauty of the islands at your own pace and away from the crowds. Those of you who choose to take a boat out on your own will be thoroughly briefed and will receive assistance in planning your day. Snorkel gear and coolers are included. Shade is limited. Fishing gear is available for a small additional fee. Proof of citizenship is required for entry into the British Virgin Islands.

Sailing and Snorkeling: $110 per person. Boats depart from Sapphire Marina. Included are a tropical breakfast, gourmet lunch, open bar, snorkeling, sunning and sailing. Depending on wind and sea conditions, boats will head to a bay in St. John, most of which is a National Park.There are several full-day trips to choose from. sport fishing: Inshore or offshore. From $450 to $1200. Fishing boats depart from Sapphire Marina and Red Hook. St. Thomas is the home of the Blue Marlin! This is your chance to hook a big one offshore. We have the best conditions to serious sport fishing fans or beginners. Offshore is also home to Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin and Sailfish. Inshore fishers can use light tackle to hook Kingfish, Bonito, Barracuda or Snapper. Sport fishing boats accommodate up to six passengers. Contact our Guest Activities Center to book a fishing trip or if you are interested in a split.

sunset cocktail cruise: $55 per person. Departs from Sapphire Marina on Fridays only at 5:00 p.m. Experience the beauty of the island sunset and early evening when you spend a leisurely two hours cruising the islands and enjoying cocktails and snacks.

sunset dinner cruise: $85 per person. Departs from Sapphire Marina on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. Enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while the captains sails to a perfect cove to anchor for dinner. Dine on-board as the sun sinks into the Caribbean. Sail back to Sapphire by starlight, docking at around 8:00 p.m.
