coral world marine park & underwater observatory: Spend the day at this unique marine park, which has an underwater observatory tower that offers a 360 degree windows to the sea. Several buildings feature exhibits of Caribbean marine life, including an 80,000 gallon tank that surrounds visitors. Pet a shark, watch turtles being fed and visit the touching pool. Visit Sapphire's Guest Activities Center, located in our lobby, for family discount tickets.

Eco-Kayak Tours: These tours of the mangrove lagoon, through the Virgin Islands Marine Sanctuary & Wildlife Refuge, are 2.5 hours of unforgettable experience with nature. Sitting on top of stable kayaks, you and your guides will paddle through the mangroves and see herons, egrets, tropical fish, stingrays and other wildlife.

horseback riding: Take the Red Hook ferry to St. John and enjoy the fun of horseback riding on the historical mountain roads of Coral Bay, St. John. Cash or traveler's checks only.

jet ski: $50 for half an hour: $90 for one hour. Depart from Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina. Fast, fun and exciting! You must be 18 years of age or older to drive a jet ski.

parasailing: You will be picked up at Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina and whisked out to sea, where you will be launched from a specially designed platform on the back of the boat. Once aloft, you will experience a bird's eye view of the Caribbean - St. Thomas and down island! Stay completely dry or let the boat captain dip your toes into the Caribbean Sea.
